in the year 2071, gideon ("inmate 78777473") sits in an island prison off the coast of california. the prison holds 'nucels,' who've run afoul of the government's recent set of laws enacted to curb physical risk-taking behavior of nucels. a 'nucel' is someone participating in an experimental drug trial from Nuprint Labs, which is testing their life-extension drug 'NuCLE' (Nuprint Continuous Life Extension), which claims to allow users to live forever using the experimental regimen. no one knows for sure if it works, as only time will tell, but the social unrest and chaos caused from the manufacturing and disbursement of this new drug, is significant.
